No WIP

Sorry ever since Halloween I haven't been sewing or crocheting haven't had any mojo for either lately but,I noticed that I have been reading a lot more lately. Finished 2 books in less then a week and about to finish another one sometime tonight. So I see that I got that mojo back. Plus it takes me to another world even though it's fiction it let's me see that others have problems besides me crazy huh?

I have been so busy with life it has been so stressful. I am trying to get kinship of my cousin due to some family issues and it has caused a lot of grief with my aunt so that has been so damn stressful when you have to tell a 40 something woman to take care of her damn kids. But, enough about that. I am just hoping everything goes well with that soon.

So don't have no pictures of any sewing or crocheting projects. I did start on a hat for Nesa but, I have to say that I only started on it but, yet to get in 5 rows crazy huh lol. Yet to sew in awhile but, hoping to get myself back on the roll with that.

Nesa couldn't have her surgery Wednesday due to a cold she had so that had to be changed to December the 3th. She is doing ok other words just a little cold that all our kids gets nothing bad so that's a good thing just from the weather changing.

So let me leave you with a picture of my day contents to relieve some stress for my early morning and late nights while the girls are sleeping. To go into another world is that just me or what lol?

On A WIP Roll

This weekend has been hecked so I wasn't able to get a lot done as I thought I would. I did get some crocheting done. I can't tell you how much I have missed making things. I like the finish projects and like how calm and relaxing crocheting does. I was able to finish that girlie baby blanket that has the crochet edging going around it. It came out so pretty love the outcome to it. I brought 2 yards of the fabric 1 yard on each side with the crochet edging sandwich right between the fabric. I picked a thinner fabric so it's more of a receiving blanket then a blanket since it will be getting warmer outside dont want anything to thick when summer comes. On 2 sizes of the blanket I have pink, green then on the other 2 sides I have green, pink. The stitches is small shell stitches that worked up quickly. Glad To Be Back

I've been up to no good lol.... Did a shrug and slacks with no pattern unless you count me tracing my old slacks as a mock pattern...also whipped up a no sew purse out of one yard fabric, yes NO SEW... Then I moved on to cutting out and fitting another outfit...haven't been following patterns much I'm used to doing it as I see it then do it, but wanted to give this a try.. It's by McCall's I don't remember the number but I'll make sure to include all that once I finish it completely... Today was my Sew Sunday....so after making sure all is alright with the fitting I pinned it and hoping to sew it tomorrow or Tuesday after work...then I'm in to the pants..the pattern asks for capris but I want to do pants instead... I've been missing because life got so busy...been crocheting running my business and all...taking care of kids... WOW it's been awhile since I logged on. I've been so busy everyone. Nesa was in the hospital for the whole month of January due to rejection but, she is doing better now. To make a long story short she is back in school. She is more happy YAY. We home more now then before. I've been working and school been taking up a lot of my time. Don't get in much crocheting. But, I have been teaching 3rd graders up to the 5th graders how to crochet at my kids after school program. One day back in January I got a call from the person that runs the afterschool program asking me questions about crocheting and all. He found out about me though Nesa and Nellie's teachers because in the pass I've been them things and they remember me. So I got a job from word by mouth. YAY lol. The girls are getting the hang of it. Well some of the girls. Oh before I started teaching the girls at the school. I went ahead and taught Nesa first.
